What are conservation projects?

Groups will help to create conservation areas with the 7-acre site of our activity centre in Simonstone. Activities will include; dry stone walling, hedge planting/laying, fencing, path building, bridge building, creating habitat piles, installing bird and bat boxes, tree work, coppicing and clearance of invasive species.

Individuals will be taught how to safely use various tools.

Duration: from 1 hour to a number of days depending on learning objectives
