At our woodland activity centre in Simonstone, near Burnley, we design bespoke outdoor experiences tailored to your group’s goals. Whether you want to build confidence, strengthen teamwork or simply enjoy a brilliant day out together, our instructors will create the perfect mix of activities for your group’s size, age range and ability.

Outdoor Activities at Our Woodland Centre

Choose from an exciting range of group activities, including:

Our activity menu lets you shape the perfect day — go all‑in on high ropes adrenaline, choose a survival‑themed adventure, keep things competitive with ground‑based challenges, or mix everything together for a day that appeals to all ages and abilities.

*Supplement applies for the additional instructor required for the Mega Zip Line.

• Evening Session (May–August): Choose 2 activities
• Half Day: Choose 3 activities

*There is a £9.50 (per person) surcharge if the MEGA zip line is one of your chosen activities due to the fact that 2 instructors are needed for this activity. Cost (minimum 10 participants) inclusive of VAT.  Prices applicable for bookings at the weekend and during school holidays. No charge for adult leaders not taking part.  Discounts available on full days when booking for 30+ people.

Timings:

The timing are generally:

Half day: 9.30am – 12.30pm or 1.30pm – 4.30pm

Full day: 9.30am – 4.00pm

Evenings: 6.30pm – 8.30pm (available May-August)

Food & Drink:

Complimentary drinks  for participants. Tea, coffee and soft drinks for adults. Soft drinks for children.

How to Book:

We issue a booking confirmation, group information form and an invoice.

Pay a 50% deposit to secure the booking.

Pay the balance 4 weeks before the activity date.

General Information:

A kit list would be provided with booking confirmation, but nothing special is required.

• All instructors have been DBS cleared and first aid trained
• Written risk assessments for all activities are available
• We hold Professional Indemnity Civil Liability & Employers Liability Insurance cover

Number in group:  

Whatever number you want, but ideally 8+ (please note that there is a minimum charge for 10), and we can cater comfortably for up to 40 for this type of event.
