Description

What is a River Study?

Groups will undertake a number of experiments to determine the speed and profile of the river. Also taking a kick sample they will be able to identify aquatic life present in the river / stream.

Enjoyment, teamwork, communication, leadership, listening skills, carrying out instructions, learn about wildlife and natural environment, analytical skills

Venues

Outdoor Elements has an outdoor activity centre set within a 7-acre woodland. Within the woodland is a stream. Making this an ideal environment for a river / stream study.
