Mini Explorer’s Birthday Party

An exciting shelter building and welly walk adventure suitable for ages 5-7

The group will explore through the woodland making their way to base camp.  Once at base camp they will be presented with the equipment to build a den, as the word is ‘a storm is on its way!’

The equipment includes tarpaulin sheets, ropes and natural materials found in the woodland.  Once the den is complete everyone must rush inside whilst the storm passes overhead.  Then there is an opportunity for refreshments and for further play in and around the den.

The return journey is an adventurous walk through our woodland stream, splashing through shallow pools, scrambling over rocks and climbing over and under fallen tree branches. Watch out along the way for the Cave, Log of Doom, Slippery Slabs, Crocodile Pool and the Trolls Bridge!
